We are currently seeking a curious and driven Advertising Technology Manager to join our team and contribute to a cohesive advertising technology roadmap that helps the Audience Solutions team deliver on the strategic goals for commercial sales . The perfect candidate will have exceptional communication skills along with a deep understanding of the global advertising ecosystem to help shape the future success of advertising strategy for our organization. Ability to analyze the performance of our advertising technology capabilities and collaborate with connected teams to identify/deliver technology, process, and workflow improvements is mandatory. Previous experience with ad servers, CDPs, DMPs, and CRMs is essential, plus a desire to problem solve, take on new challenges and question existing workflows. Previous experience with publishing platforms and programmatic advertising is preferable.
How you will make an impact:
- Manage the integration, implementation, management, and optimization of the product portfolio that supports the Wiley Partner Solutions Ad Tech Stack end to end – from ad booking, delivery, and performance reporting.
- Understand the needs of publishers, partners, and corporates sales and to work closely with the Business Development team and our technology teams (internal and external) to deliver on these needs to help shape the future of our advertising capabilities across our publishing platforms.
- Provide leadership to cross-functional teams by setting priorities and providing a strategic technology vision.
- Act as a strategic partner and influence colleagues across the organization to drive solutions.
- Develop and execute a near and long-term technology roadmap that will drive incremental value to the business.
- Implement and monitor beta/pilot programs.
- Prioritize, develop and document business requirements.
- Establish, monitor, and report on KPIs.Plan, position, and communicate product updates to colleagues, customers, and partners.

- Proven track record of Advertising Technology management / product ownership with the ability to support integrations with existing technologies.
- Identify process and workflow improvements for Ad Tech and connected teams - Sales, Sales support, and Ad Operations.
- Manage technical escalation for troubleshooting to support Ad Ops and Ad Tech coordinators.
- Collaborate on strategies, solutions, and architectures to achieve our business goals and help solve our advertising technology and business challenges.
- Be accountable to enhance existing workflows, identify process improvements, provide strategic recommendations.Adopt a lead role with cross-functional technical and operations teams to design, build, and launch new features and new initiatives.
