Position Summary
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis role is responsible for directing the preparation of the annual budget, forecasting, cash flow planning, analysis of results and other strategic activities as requested. This is a corporate position that will work closely with the CFO, the Executive Team and Manufacturing Management by directing and complex entity-wide activities directly and through indirect resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for directing the preparation of the Annual Budget by the operating units and assist functional groups in the preparation of their budgets. This includes development of performance targets, the definition and assignment of tasks in Epicor’s EFP tool and consolidation/reporting/evaluation of the output.
- Responsible for directing the preparation of the Monthly Financial Forecast by the business units, evaluation of the output, reporting of key points to leadership, and identification of opportunities to enhance performance.
- Responsible for Cash Flow Planning. This position will establish, will work closely with lender(s), enhance, and monitor processes to project debt service requirements, capital planning, and timely identification of borrowing needs.
- Responsible for Analysis of Results; this includes identification of key trends, one-time events, and alignment with budget and financial forecasts. Initially, this will include direct involvement but over time the requirement is to establish processes that adequately and efficiently and explain results in a timely manner.
- Participate in the development and presentation of the Strategic Plan with the business units. This position will act as financial counsel during development and be responsible for the roll-up, consolidation, and presentation of the financial portion of the Plan.
- The position will participate in the identification of actions/opportunities for the business to improve financial results, cash flow, asset management, and risk mitigation.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of legal entity matters, external compliance including tax, government regulations, intercompany transactions, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Update/create standard operating procedures in accordance with company policies.
- Other duties or special projects as requested such as annual insurance renewals or negotiation of contracts.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management.

Job Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Accounting -OR- Finance major)
- MBA is a plus.
- 10 or more years of related work experience in corporate setting and with a strong understanding of manufacturing and cost accounting in a multi-state or multi-national environment preferred.
- Solid Excel foundation
- Possess strong attention to detail, gather and analyze information skillfully, and identify issues in a timely manner.

- This position requires walking, sitting, or standing to a significant degree.
- Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 20 pounds.
- Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs.
- Stooping, crouching, kneeling, and bending.
- Handling, feeling, and gripping would be required for some activities.
- This role may be subject to internal and external environmental conditions.
