Overview
The HR Analyst is responsible for performing a variety of general human resources activities under the direction of the Human Resources Leaders, with a focus on building and maintaining HR technology for Scheels. This position will work closely with both Scheels Campus and store teams to provide technical support and best practices related to HR technology.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the day to day operations technical resource for UKG Pro and UKG Pro WFM
- Provide technical guidance and direction to teams responsible for HRIS functions within the stores
- Serve as the project manager and lead training for the implementation of additional HR technology modules, including data and workflow management, performance and compensation administration, learning management design, and attendance tracking
- Coordinate with HR, IT, and store teams to identify areas of improvement, recommend changes, support projects, and implement functional solutions for existing HR technology
- Work closely with the Campus HR team to administer and support all HR technologies and enhancements that improve HR operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Actively identify and resolve issues or opportunities for enhanced user experience and other HRIS integrations
- Build and maintain reports in UKG Business Intelligence
- Maintain a sense of urgency in regard to responding to various communications across the organization as well as meeting deadlines
- Knowledge of internal HR programs, policies, and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal employment laws
- Support the Campus benefits, payroll, and compliance teams with clerical duties
- Perform work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Gmail/Google Office Suite
- Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively and promptly with all levels of the organization
- Handle sensitive/confidential documents, conversations, and other information
- Ability to work assigned schedule which is typically Monday through Friday daytime hours, but may include some evening or weekend hours as needed

Education & Experience
The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Hands-on, technical experience in configuring and maintaining cloud-based databases or an intense interest in system configuration is preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
