JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Technical Sales Specialist’s responsibilities include outside sales activity, customer communications, and reporting as assigned by the General Manager. The Senior Technical Sales Specialist will work to grow the Belleville business for Maryland Precision Spring within the Belleville industry. The Senior Technical Sales Specialist will translate customer communication to planning, forecasting and identifying business opportunities required to grow the Spring/Metal forming and Belleville business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
- Grow Maryland Precision springs Belleville Business
- Visit customers and develop long term relationships with purchasing and engineering.
- Generate new business opportunities for Maryland Precision Spring in the Spring/Metal forming and Belleville industry.
- Follow up on quotations and provide market feedback to.
- Provide written call reports and other communications for customer activities/programs to the General Manager.
- Provide information on competitors and market level pricing to the General Manager.
- Identify and develop new sales leads, opportunities, markets and connect with key prospects.
- Devise strategies and techniques necessary for achieving the sales targets and plans.
- Meet and exceed the sales plan and monthly revenue targets.
- Manage sales pipeline development, sales planning, forecasting, quoting of opportunities and customer contract negotiation.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations and product demonstrations. Host customers.
- Nurture and expand partnerships and business with existing clients.
SKILLS and ABILITIES
- Knowledge and use of CRM and MRP tools, HubSpot and visual preferred
- Knowledge of the Spring/Metal Forming and Belleville washer market – gains knowledge on competitive information, current and future models and market trends, and strong technical aptitude of the channel from all potential sources.
- Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to persuade, lead and confidently handle objections and resolve customer issues.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Spring/Metal Forming or Belleville industry. Customer facing roles preferred.
- Strong background in manufacturing, product cost structures and quoting. Ability to travel (primarily USA, but also Canada and Mexico).

SALARY RANGE:
- $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 Total Compensation/Year
