THE ROLE:
As a System Delivery Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Organizing and leading meetings and calls with customers and third-party vendors
- Coordinating all project-related activities, including customer, internal and third-party resources
- Serving as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders
- Maintaining cost and schedule forecasts for all managed projects
- Documenting and managing risks and issues in service of project success
- Reporting on project status
- Facilitating project reviews to drive continuous improvement
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Minimum 2 years experience leading projects in a customer-facing capacity
- Organized self-starter able to balance and re-prioritize a varied workload
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly build rapport with customers, internal and external resources
- Demonstrated experience with standard Project Management tools (MS Project, Office365, etc.)
- Must be able to travel within Canada and the United States
- PMI certification (PMP, or CAPM with interest in progressing to PMP) is an asset
- Experience in a mission-critical communications, public safety, or an adjacent field is an asset
