Salary Range: The salary range of employees currently holding equivalent positions is $50,000 to $62,000 but is commensurate with experience.

Description:
Under the supervision of the Director, this position will provide logistical, organizational, and communications support for the office to ensure smooth and effective implementation across all campus academic units for both the academic program review and learning assessment processes that are mandated by the Illinois Board of Higher Education and required by our institutional accreditation agency (the Higher Learning Commission).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Communication: Coordinates all office communications to external reviewers, as well as academic units and college leadership regarding academic program review, general education program learning assessment, and degree program learning assessment expectations throughout the year.
- Record Keeping: Regularly maintains and updates office databases, records, and reports related to program review and learning assessment year-round.
- Meeting Preparation: Coordinates scheduling and related documentation for program review meetings with the Vice provost, deans, department, and program leadership, as well as for the Degree Program Assessment Committee and Senate Committee on Educational Policy’s Program Review Council meetings.
- Site Visit Logistics: Coordinate external reviewer travel arrangements, reimbursements and honoraria payments, and additional logistical support to programs during the academic program review process.
- Data Support: Prepares data from published sources into readable reports / training materials, and also implements preliminary data preparation and analysis tasks to support large-scale data analysis projects within the office.
- Documentation: Update and maintain the office website, including committee rosters, program review timelines, and templates used across campus.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience in managing communications, documentation, and/or logistics related to multiple concurrent projects, and interacting with unit leaders as part of project experience.
- Professional experience working in a university setting.
- Professional experience preparing information for stakeholders’ consumption
- Professional experience working with quantitative data
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products, including creating tables, graphics, and reports.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to work independently and as a team member, attend to multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Interest in a career related to data analysis / learning assessment in a university environment.
