JOB SUMMARY
The Consumer Direct Care Network Legal Analyst reports to the Legal Supervisor, and assists the Legal Manager and Compliance Officer. This individual works independently to manage Company licensing, registrations, certifications, wage claims, and contract database. This individual will be sought after by Program Offices for their expertise in enrollments and revalidations. This is a remote position.
JOB DUTIES
- Assist with legal inquiries and tasks to ensure positive business growth and development
- Promote cohesiveness in the office environment
- Support day‐to‐day operations
- Communicate effectively
- Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures
- Demonstrate dependability
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving and decision‐making skills
- Exhibit computer efficiency
- Maintain necessary skills and knowledge to coordinate workflow
- Participate in professional development and training activities
- Prioritize and multitask effectively
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
- Under attorney supervision, perform investigation and respond to wage and other agency claims
- Coordinate with outside counsel as necessary, assist with discovery, record holds, and other litigation and transactional matters as requested
- Conduct Legal Analysis of complex legal issues, analyze key policy, legislative, and legal developments, and share insights and solutions
- Draft and update policy and operational documentation, briefings, and analyses
- Manage the full contract lifecycle
- Formation, maintenance, and dissolution of corporate entities (corporations, LLC’s, etc.) and prepare related documents
- Maintain online legal records and tracking system as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3 years’ previous legal experience required
- Completion of an ABA approved Paralegal Certificate program or
- Combination of education and experience
- Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds.
