JOB SUMMARY
The Marketing Assistant supports the Marketing team by creating and managing content, coordinating campaigns, and driving engagement efforts. Responsibilities include social media management, promotional material design, event coordination, and reputation management, all aimed at aligning outreach with company goals and values.
JOB DUTIES
- Develop and share educational content on self-directed services.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance employee engagement and company culture.
- Write, design, and review marketing materials, including social media posts, email campaigns, and internal communications.
- Manage and monitor social media platforms, responding to interactions and tracking performance metrics.
- Research and write content for monthly recognition programs and employee-focused initiatives.
- Create visual content using tools like Adobe Creative Suite to support marketing campaigns.
- Oversee reputation management efforts, including responding to reviews and maintaining an active presence on platforms such as Glassdoor, Indeed, and Google.
- Conduct market research to support targeted outreach initiatives.
- Organize and maintain a library of marketing materials and media assets.
- Assist with planning and executing events, conferences, and trade show logistics.
- Coordinate requests for branded materials and manage production workflows.
- Assist in creating and editing video and audio content for campaigns.
- Draft reports and presentations to summarize marketing strategies and outcomes.
- Collaborate with team members to implement strategies supporting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
- Stay informed on digital tools and trends to enhance marketing efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred; relevant experience accepted.
- 1–2 years in marketing, communications, or administrative roles. Experience with social media and content creation is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, ChatGPT, or Google Marketing Platforms is a bonus.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to draft engaging, error-free content.
- Team player who works effectively across departments and with diverse groups.
- Comfortable adjusting to shifting priorities and timelines.
- Employees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position
The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 30 pounds. We provide coordinated service delivery in 14 states and the District of Columbia.
