Job Title: Line Producer

MarcoPolo Learning is seeking an experienced and dynamic Line Producer to oversee the end-to-end creation of high-quality video and animation content for our proprietary digital learning platforms and social media channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production management, exceptional organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to multitask under tight deadlines. A passion for creating educational content that resonates with both educators and children is essential. This role requires a hands-on expert to lead and manage the entire production process.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production process for video and animation content, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and brand standards, from concept through final delivery.
- Lead and work with animators, video editors, scriptwriters, and voice-over artists to produce engaging educational content.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive production schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery.
- Prioritize tasks, manage workflows, and track all deliveries and feedback to ensure efficient production.
- Identify, negotiate, and manage external vendors and freelancers to supplement internal capabilities as needed.
- Implement rigorous quality control processes to maintain high production standards across all content.
- Maintain accurate asset records and update relevant databases as required.
- Proactively identify and address production bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with partner studios/agencies to ensure timely and accurate deliveries from their end.
- Work closely with education, marketing, and product teams to align content with educational goals.
- Manage production logistics, including location scouting, equipment procurement, and on-site shoot coordination.Act as the main point of contact between production teams and management, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, Animation, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years managing content production, with a focus on video and animation for digital platforms, including extensive coordination of serialized productions.
- Strong understanding of production workflows encompassing pre-production, production execution, and post-production processes.
- Proven expertise in managing production schedules and employing effective project management techniques.
- Deep knowledge of video and animation production pipelines and workflows, with the ability to optimize and enhance current practices.
- Demonstrated success in leading and inspiring creative teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying creative concepts and production plans to diverse audiences.
- Experience using asset tracking tools such as Autodesk, Asana, Clickup, or similar software.
- Genuine interest in early childhood education and a commitment to producing content that positively impacts learners.Willingness to travel as necessary to support production activities.

This is a US-based hybrid or remote position, with a preference for applicants located on the East Coast due to the nature of the role. Candidates residing outside the United States will not be considered. The salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $100,000 + stock options. The actual compensation offered will depend on work experience and skill level.
