About the Role
The Corporate Security Lead develops, implements, and oversees comprehensive security programs and strategies to protect our employees, reputation, assets, and operations in the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico. This role requires a self-starter who is driven and diplomatic, with the ability to collaborate in a business environment by working closely with North American BU Leadership and various departments within the company, as well as the Corporate Security & Investigations team (CSI), legal, HR and Manufacturing teams and others.
Key responsibilities include managing physical security, conducting, and managing security risk assessments, ensuring compliance with global security policies and SOPs, and collaborating cross-functionally and the ability to manage relationship with local law enforcement and emergency services.
This role supports the Global Security Strategy and Policy by turning risks into opportunities, by taking a collaborative and enabling approach to corporate and physical security while increasing resilience, and ensuring the protection of the company’s people, reputation, assets, and operations.
Role Responsibilities:
Security Strategy and Planning:

Review, develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols for FMCG manufacturing facilities, warehouses, corporate offices, and campuses.

Conduct regular security risk assessments and implement mitigations.

Create and maintain business continuity and emergency response plans.
-
Develop and track the effectiveness of Corporate Security Programs, including SRM, Executive Protection, Workplace Violence, Emergency Management, Insider Threat, Supply Chain Security, Crisis Response, Profit Protection, Loss Prevention and budgetary planning and cost reduction.
Physical Security Management:
-
Oversee the installation and maintenance of access control systems, surveillance cameras, alarm systems and various other physical and technical security features. Implement the latest security technologies and solutions to reduce risks and operational costs.

Manage on-site security personnel and collaborate with security service providers.

Enhance perimeter security measures.
Emergency, Incident and Crisis Management:

Review, develop and implement incident response plans for various security threats with a focus on creating corporate memory and legacy in handling crises and emergencies.

Coordinate and conduct emergency drills and training sessions.

Act as the primary contact during security incidents, liaising with law enforcement and emergency services.

Manage crisis and business continuity, supporting business leaders with contingency plans and business impact analysis in collaboration with Global Resilience Team.
Supply Chain and Warehouse Security:

Implement latest security measures for shipments to prevent theft, fraud, and misappropriation.

Collaborate with logistics providers to enhance supply chain security.

Work with relevant leaders to develop and implement contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.

Oversee security measures in warehouses, including access control and inventory protection.
Travel Security Program:

Develop and manage a comprehensive travel security program.

Provide pre-travel briefings, security assessments, and real-time monitoring of travel-related risks.

Establish protocols for responding to travel-related security incidents.
Employee Training and Awareness:

Develop and deliver security training programs focused on workplace violence prevention, threat detection, and emergency response for new joiners and companywide on regular basis.

Promote a culture of security awareness and encourage reporting of suspicious activities.

Analyse risk, threats, vulnerabilities, and trends impacting the business, including theft, fraud, and general criminality.

Implement, test, and maintain mass communication systems.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal security regulations for all our sites.

Regularly review and update security policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements.

Conduct security audits and inspections to ensure adherence to protocols.
Collaboration and Communication:

Build and maintain relationships with local law enforcement, emergency services, and stakeholders.

Provide regular updates to senior management on security matters.
-
Participate in industry forums and stay informed about global security trends and best practices.

Work closely with North American BU Leadership to align security strategies with business objectives.

Support anti-counterfeiting, corporate investigations, and resilience teams.
Operational Leadership and Project Management:

Manage day-to-day security activities and operations while maintaining strategic vision.

Lead and manage small security teams and security officers.
-
Oversee security-related projects from inception to completion.

Administer local Executive Protection programs and manage fleet security
Why you?
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Anti-terrorism & Intelligence studies, Business Administration, Law, Information Technology/Computer Sciences, or related field.

Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in related role in law enforcement, military, or corporate security.
-
Ability to develop and execute security strategy.
-
Strong knowledge of physical security, facilities security and relevant systems and protocols.
-
Excellent risk assessment and crisis management skills.
-
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
-
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
-
Ability to travel to various sites across the USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, and support Mexico may be required.
-
Ability to respond to security incidents outside of regular working hours is necessary.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience in FMCG or manufacturing sectors.
-
Experience managing security operations across multiple sites in a multinational setting across the USA, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Proficiency in security management software and tools.
-
Project management experience.
-
Additional languages is a plus.
Location: This role is hybrid based in Warren, NJ and will require travel across the US, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico.

The salary range for this role is: $100,712 - $135,178 plus a 12% bonus.
