The Bank of North Dakota (BND) is seeking an Executive Vice President to join our team in our Bismarck office! The Bank was established to promote agriculture, commerce, and industry in the State. Its loan programs work in conjunction with private financial institutions to finance economic development throughout the State. It is the legal depository for all state funds unless provided otherwise by law. The Bank also serves as a central clearing agency and provides many other services to North Dakota banks and other financial institutions.

Summary Of Work
The Executive Vice President will provide leadership and advise the BND President and Advisory Board on strategies, objectives, and programs as they relate to FinTech opportunities, legislative and/or administrative initiatives, special strategic projects, and overall Bank positioning.
The Executive Vice President will lead BND in exploring, assessing, and delivering FinTech-related solutions for/with financial institution partners. This includes collaboration with state and federal agencies, financial institutions, legislators, and other identified customers. They will work closely with the Chief Business Development Officer and Chief Executive Officer to aid in developing and maintaining legislative and administrative relationships, managing specially directed legislated programs, researching and recommending solutions, and providing overall support in this area.
This position will serve as a member of the Executive Committee and participate in the strategic planning process by implementing, evaluating, and recommending overall bank objectives that support strategic initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires a bachelor's degree with specific emphasis in accounting, banking and finance, business administration, or economics and at least 10 years of experience in roles with increasing responsibility in a financial institution.
