This individual is responsible for providing prompt and accurate data entry for processing patient billing information. Promotes seamless care to the patient by communicating effectively with staff, patients and providers.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Accurately enters and posts transactions into billing software to ensure correct patient balances.
- Identifies unusual variances with patient or insurance transactions.
- Prioritizes daily workload to ensure accurate patient Accounts Receivable balances thru data entry.
- Desires to provide excellent customer service is a necessary requirement.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- One to two years medical, dental or insurance office experience required
- Three to four years medical, dental or insurance office experience preferred
- Possess excellent customer service skills, data entry knowledge
- Prior knowledge with electronic file transfers preferred
