Our client is a national consulting firm for hospitals and clinics primarily in Rural America.
Compensation
- Base Salary: $140,000
- Commission Potential: Earn commission on new clients and contracts. Senior Consultants average 200k+ in their first year.

Position Overview - The Senior Revenue Cycle Consultant will:
- Provide expert assessments and continuous monitoring of revenue cycle processes for clients.
- Deliver advisory services on legal and regulatory compliance, including federal and state updates.
- Analyze throughput, staffing, and productivity issues, identifying financial risks and solutions.
- Develop client presentations with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Create and implement contract matrix projects to improve revenue cycle performance and compliance.
- Oversee complex denials management projects, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
- Attend virtual and on-site meetings with client leadership teams.
- Manage projects, deliver presentations, and encourage collaboration to enhance client outcomes.
- Generate new business leads and identify opportunities for additional services with existing clients.
- Approach all tasks with a high-performing consultant mindset, driving efficiency, innovation, and measurable results for clients.
- Manage a full desk of work projects while finding new opportunities to become an expert in your field and generate additional business opportunities with the support of leadership
Travel: Up to 20% monthly across the U.S. (air and car travel required).
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field is required.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of leadership experience (Manager or Director level) in the Revenue Cycle
- Candidates with CAH or RHC preferred.
- Hands-on HIM and revenue cycle leadership experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating contract matrices to track and manage payer agreements.
- Proven success in overseeing complex denials management projects, with a focus on resolution and process improvement.
