Sunfab develops, produces and sells components for the operation of hydraulic equipment. We sell our products via distributors and direct to customers all over the world. Our head office is located in Hudiksvall, Sweden, where Sunfab’s products are manufactured in our own factory. We have presence across the globe in key markets such as Germany, France, UK, Spain, Malaysia and USA. In the U.S., our office is located in Charlotte, NC.

The Opportunity and Role
The Sales Manager will have responsibility for developing the customer base in North America - USA and Canada. The individual will work closely with the Operational Manager - Sales Manager - Order Manager and support team to manage customer relationships, drive profitable sales and ensure timely performance in customer delivery to their assigned customers.
Leveraging Sunfab’s technology, service and thought leadership, the Sales Manager shall provide innovative and cost-effective solutions and assume the responsibility for the overall fulfillment of all contractual obligations & deliverables.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for increasing sales and improving margins.
- Builds and promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understand their needs.
- Establishes and implements a Sales and Marketing plan for larger customers.
- Actively works with performance monitoring, maintains and submits reports to management and updating commercial customer agreements as needed.
- Manages daily operations, developing ways of working and proactively develop the organization together with the team.
- Travelling frequently to customers locations in US and Canada.
- Oversee outside sales efforts, ensuring that the team effectively engages with potential clients.
- Regularly visiting our office in Charlotte NC for meetings and internal workshops and team building
Requirements
- Proven experience in a sales management role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and business development strategies.
- Sunfab Hydraulics Inc. have a divide of 50% sales towards Distributors and 50% to OEM direct accounts.
- Our customers handled by Sunfab Hydraulics Inc. are in US and Canada
- The title of the Sales Manager will be decided upon the responsibility, customer segment, geographical area or other individual divide in scope pending on the applicant’s background and skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on persuasive selling techniques.
- Pending on the applicant’s resident, the customer responsibility, role and geographical area, will be decided later as such as organizing travel and arrangements for home office or re-locating to Charlotte NC.
Qualifications
- 4-year bachelor’s degree.
- Documented experience (5+ years) of successful technical sales including previous experience working with hydraulics products and systems as a sales representative, sales manager or similar.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.

-Strong business sense and industry expertise.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
