The following position is to join RTX Corporate:
RTX Communications is seeking a Manager, Employee Communications to serve as an editorial lead for Collins Aerospace. The successful candidate is a strong writer and project manager, with the ability to lead projects and collaborate across teams in support of business objectives. The editorial lead is a creative, self-starter with experience developing and executing communications plans and successfully leading projects in a matrixed organization.
What You Will Do
- Supports project management, execution, and measurement of the Collins employee communications strategy
- Manages the Collins editorial calendar across channels in partnership with the Channels & Content (C&C) COE
- Executes business-wide employee, manager and other targeted email sends via an online platform, and partners closely with the C&C team on newsletter content and execution
- Tracks metrics for Collins employee communications (articles, emails, newsletters) in partnership with the C&C COE analytics team and develops a quarterly dashboard to track progress and opportunities for improvement
- Supports communications planning and execution for key business initiatives as assigned, and provides surge support for the broader Collins Employee Communications team
- Travel up to 10%, or as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or related field and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Experience with internal communications platforms such as Poppulo and survey tools such as Qualtrics or Survey Smart (or similar).

Qualifications We Prefer
- Ability to understand complex business issues to craft messages for targeted audiences.
- Motivated self-starter with outstanding communication and writing skills, including effective communication planning, message development and writing for various communications vehicles (with emphasis on internal communications).
- Strong business judgment and the ability to work independently, interface with and influence key stakeholders, particularly at the executive level.
- Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously with an emphasis on quality, on-time delivery and customer focus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Hybrid employees work both offsite and onsite regularly.

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. Minimum Program Qualifications
To qualify for the RTX Re-Empower Program, candidates should:

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
