Post residency acceptable in Internal Medicine, Certified or Board Eligible in medical specialty
DOE up to $190,000 - $233,000 per annum plus RVU-based incentive plan

18 provider multi-specialty practice in two locations with, Internal Medicine, Geriatrics and Family Medicine staffed currently with 9 physicians (2 IM, 1 geriatrician, 6 FP’s) and 9 mid-levels (4 PA’s, 5 FNP’s). One part-time Psychiatrist supports the practice.
This is an out-patient focused job. Clinic work is 4 patient contact days and one administrative day per week. The volume of patients is 18 – 22 patients per day. Medicine call is phone call only averaging 1/6. Additionally, hospitalist shifts can be done for more reimbursement at a competitive rate.
AllScripts EMR is utilized.
Hosptial serves a catchment area of 28,000, spread across three counties in northern Vermont on the Canadian border. We are a fiscally sound, up-to-date facility with 25 active beds. The hospital carries the federal designation of a Critical Access Hospital.
The hospital medical staff has limited sub-specialists but has an excellent group of necessary practitioners including general and orthopedic surgery, ob/gyn, pediatrics, neurology, pulmonary medicine, sleep center, radiology, pain clinic, ophthalmology. The hospital is also served by visiting cardiology, nephrology, and hematology/oncology. There is an out patient dialysis center.
This is an excellent chance to practice a wide range of primary care, rural medicine.
